Students should be certified later this semester and gain 15 hours of community service for completing this course.
Rethink Your Drink! Mrs.Whiteheads Life Fitness and Nutrition class worked on guessing how much sugar was in each beverage and once placed correctly they had to convert the grams to teaspoons, then measure the amount of sugar into the cup. After completing the activity they signed a pledge to try to rethink their drinks. They definitely felt the visual helped to see the excessive amount of sugar they take in daily.

For those of us that lived and watched the tragic events, we are marked forever of 9/11. Today it is a part of our history that our children learn about. A group from our Pangburn High School GT program were able to visit the 9/11 Memorial and Museum this past summer. Here is a note from Pangburn senior student, Brylie Butler.
"When we went to the 9/11 museum we got to experience a virtual tour that told us about each piece and its significance. I think the most memorable part of the museum for me was listening to the voicemails that people left their loved ones telling them that they might not make it. We also watched videos from that day of people jumping, trying to get out of the towers. This was definitely a memorable experience, and I think as someone who wasn’t alive to experience the true impact of this day, the museum did a wonderful job of portraying just how impactful it was."
Congratulations to our Pangburn School District Senior High Homecoming Court!
