Third Grade Science with Mrs. Miner has had a fun-filled two weeks of STEM! STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. It is an important standard for our students!
The first challenge is was to build a chair that could hold a stuffed animal, just from paper and tape! The second was to build the tallest tower possible, but students were only given three feet of tape, 25 straws, and had just 30 minutes to build it. We ended with some robots built from recycled items!
