Students in preschool-6th grade will be celebrating Read Across America week March 4-8. One way we plan to celebrate is by dressing up each day (see the schedule below). Also, please share pictures of your child reading with the hashtag #PSDReadAcrossAmerica Fun fact: A student who reads 20 min. a day will read around 1.8 million words per year and is more likely to score in the 90th percentile on standardized tests!

Our 5th-12th grade students and faculty were able to hear the inspirational story of Caleb Freeman this morning. This young man is a walking miracle and you can hear his full story Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Valley Baptist Church. He will also be at Valley Baptist tonight and tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. Thank you to him and his dad Jeremy for making a stop at Pangburn to visit with us and challenge our students to a plank contest! Caleb has done a 16-minute plank before, congratulations to Xander Kane for hanging in there with him and being the last one left.

Plant Science class had a good produce harvest today. Spring cabbage is being started this week. Some of the boys are building extra planters so more produce can be grown this spring.
