We hope you all had a wonderful summer. You should be
recieving a letter from your teacher soon to let you
know who's class you will be in and a little information
about your teacher.
Below you will find a supply list of all the things
your child will need for Kindergarten. Kindergarten
teachers offer a supply program for $25.00 that will
cover all your child's supplies and buy a class t-shirt
for the whole year except the backpack and towel.
The teachers prefer that you take advantage of this so
every child will have the same supplies.
Kindergarten Supply List
1 School Box (pink or blue)
4 Boxes of Crayola Crayons(no wax crayons)
2 yellow highlighters
1 package Crayola Markers
1 Package Crayola Colored Pencils
4 Expo dry erase markers (Black)
2 Large pink erasers
2 boxes of Kleenex tissues
6 glues sticks (Elmer’s)
1 bottle of glue (Elmer’s)
1 box of baby wipes
2 boxes of quart Ziploc bags
1 boxes of gallon Ziploc bags
1 spiral notebook
2 folders with 3-prongs (1 orange and 1 purple(Bell's kids))
12 #2 pencils
1 pair Fisker scissors (blunt tip)
1 large bottle of hand sanitizer
1 backpack
Large towel for naptime (No Kinder Mats)
You will be recieving lots of information about your child's classroom the first few days of school. Please make sure you check your child's folder every night.
Things to work on in Math:
- Practice counting to 12
- Practice counting objects to 5
Things to Work on in Reading:
- Read daily with your child
- Work on ABC Chart with your child every night
- Practice having your child write his/her name
- Use letter formation sheet when practicing writing letters
